Terms of Service

Last updated: June 25, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KikiDoc service — the website at kikidoc.dev, the API at api.kikidoc.dev, the customer portal at app.kikidoc.dev, the MCP server at mcp.kikidoc.dev, and related tools and documentation (collectively, the "Service"), operated by:

ARK Consulting Jasminowa 6b/59 05-825 Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland NIP: 8381725246

("KikiDoc", "we", "us").

By creating an account, generating an API key, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.

1. The Service

KikiDoc is an API that renders HTML, stored templates, or fetched URLs into PDFs and images, with related features (templates, document security, asynchronous jobs, webhooks, an MCP server, and no-code connectors). We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and capable of forming a binding contract.

The Service is intended primarily for business and professional use. To the extent permitted by law, consumer protection provisions that apply solely to consumer transactions do not apply to business users.

3. Accounts and API Keys

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account and API keys.
  • Keep your API keys and credentials secret. Treat an API key like a password. You are responsible for requests made with your keys until you revoke them in the portal.
  • Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • Accounts, API keys, templates, usage, and subscriptions belong to the organization that owns them.

4. Acceptable Use

Because the Service renders content you supply (HTML, data, or URLs you point it at), you are responsible for that content. You agree not to use the Service to:

  • create, host, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights);
  • generate phishing pages, malware, fraudulent invoices/documents, or content intended to deceive;
  • fetch, scrape, or render URLs you are not authorized to access, or in violation of the target site's terms or applicable law;
  • attempt to reach internal, private, or metadata network endpoints, or otherwise circumvent the Service's security controls (including its SSRF protections);
  • reverse engineer, resell, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
  • exceed, evade, or interfere with rate limits, quotas, or the integrity or availability of the Service (including denial-of-service attacks, automated abuse, or sharing one account across unrelated parties to evade limits).

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, suspend, or terminate access as described in Section 11.

5. Plans, Billing, and Payments

  • Current plans and limits are described on the Pricing page and may change on reasonable notice. Free-tier limits and paid-plan quotas are enforced by the Service.
  • Merchant of Record. Payments for paid plans are processed by Lemon Squeezy LLC, which acts as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a paid plan, your contract for that purchase and payment is with Lemon Squeezy, and Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and refund policy apply to the transaction, in addition to these Terms. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, payment methods, invoices, and applicable sales tax or VAT.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your plan in the portal or via Lemon Squeezy. On cancellation or non-payment, your organization reverts to the Free tier at the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds for payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their policy. Except where required by law, fees are otherwise non-refundable.
  • Taxes. Prices may be exclusive of taxes; any applicable VAT or sales tax is determined and collected by the Merchant of Record.

6. Your Content and Intellectual Property

  • Your content stays yours. You retain all rights to the HTML, templates, data, and other materials you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and render Customer Content solely to provide and maintain the Service for you.
  • We do not sell your Customer Content and do not use it to train machine-learning models.
  • Rendered artifacts may be stored temporarily for operational purposes and are automatically deleted according to our retention policy described in the Privacy Policy.
  • To the extent KikiDoc processes personal data on your behalf, such processing is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, a separate Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
  • Our IP. The Service, its software, and its branding are owned by KikiDoc or its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or software except the right to use the Service as intended.

7. Technical Limits and Resource Protection

To protect the Service and its users, we may impose technical limits on requests, rendering complexity, execution time, file size, storage, bandwidth usage, template counts, API throughput, or other resource consumption. We may reject, delay, throttle, or terminate requests that exceed such limits.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including cloud hosting, payment processors, networking providers, and other dependencies. We are not responsible for outages, failures, security incidents, delays, or changes caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Beta and Experimental Features

From time to time, we may offer beta, preview, experimental, or early-access features. Such features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time and are provided without warranties, service levels, or support commitments unless expressly stated otherwise.

10. Service Availability; "As Is"

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and we do not currently offer a contractual uptime SLA.

The Service and all outputs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for reviewing generated documents before relying on them.

11. Suspension and Termination

  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access (in whole or part) if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, abuse the Service, or fail to pay. Where practicable and lawful, we will give notice.
  • On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination survive termination.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • KikiDoc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of:
  • the amounts paid by you for the Service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • €100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those cases, these limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless KikiDoc from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, enhancement requests, recommendations, or other feedback regarding the Service, you grant KikiDoc a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, modify, incorporate, and commercialize such feedback without compensation or attribution.

15. Security and Compliance

While we implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Service, you are responsible for determining whether the Service is suitable for your compliance, regulatory, contractual, or record-retention requirements.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, the Service is not designed for regulated workloads requiring specific certifications, compliance frameworks, legal guarantees, or record-retention obligations.

16. Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including internet outages, cloud provider failures, labor disputes, acts of government, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or failures of telecommunications networks.

17. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify these Terms. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or through the portal). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Service.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

The courts having jurisdiction in Warsaw, Poland shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

19. Contact
